It all began in 2001, when I was preparing for the arrival of my first daughter, Gabriela. Instead of purchasing ready-made décor for her nursery, I created the elements myself, designing a space that matched my vision. From there, customization became a passion.

My second daughter, Isabela, was born, and customizing has now became second nature. As the kids birthdays and celebrations followed, I crafted personalized party favors for guests—thoughtful keepsakes like cereal bowls with their names, vases with seeds to nurture their own plants—items that were more than just disposable party gifts. Other moms quickly took notice, appreciating how these meaningful favors extended beyond the celebration, creating lasting memories. And so, mimo was born.
